#OneWinWednesday 1.14.2026: Break bad leadership habits
I was in Prescott over the holidays. One day I was walking through the historic neighborhood nestled in the low pines. Between two homes was a trail that headed up the hill eventually leading to the top. It so reminded me of where my dad had a house in the high hills in northern California. My father has long since passed so I was feeling nostalgice and took this selfie. A guy walks out of his house, cigarette in hand, basically asking what I was doing near his house taking pictures. NIMBY! While it was annoying, I understood his perspective. The natives didn’t like it when the puritans landed. The puritans didn’t like it when the irish landed who didn’t like it when the italians landed. This is a worldview and a bad habit that is passed down.
ππ ππΌπΏπΈ you have been subject to some really bad managerial habits over time. This doesn’t mean you need to emulate them and pass them down.
Be the kind of leader you WANT to be and your team NEEDS you to be.
